RALExILA aims to develop and deliver a model and a proof of concept for an integrated information system of the national registries for training opportunities (focusing on ALE – Adult Learning and Education), with a methodology based on interoperability, accessibility and inclusiveness, also looking at quality of the ALE provision and the relevance of such training in terms of employability and personal development.
The model will include recommendations for quality assurance, governance frameworks, information model and system management and it will be developed based on a co-design approach with relevant stakeholders and supported by research on context and needs analysis (specifically on ALE quality indicators, existing registries and ILA-related experiences in EU countries) and pilot activities to test and validate the models and proof of concept.
1
The project will identify, assess, and test relevant existing approaches for European and national registries of training opportunities and will re-adapt them within an integrated model interoperable with the European Learning Model V3.
2
Furthermore, the project aims at bringing a strong innovative approach in terms of active participation and inclusiveness, adopting a co-design approach (based on the Design Thinking method) and involving representatives of all the stakeholders group in the process: national/regional authorities, training providers and their practitioners, civil society organisations and learners. This approach also ensures a longer term impact on systemic change in the ALE environment and on its governance model.
3
Finally, the analysis of existing approaches together with the direct involvement of the stakeholders using such registries in their contexts will also ensure a very good base for supporting transfer of innovation and future exploitation of the RALExILA model, at European, national and regional level, with the potential for it to become a joint model at European level, to be implemented in future projects and initiatives.
