ACTIONS AND RESULTS

RALExILA developed and delivered a model and a proof of concept for an integrated information system of national registries for training opportunities (focusing on ALE – Adult Learning and Education), with a methodology based on interoperability, accessibility and inclusiveness, also looking at quality of ALE provision and the relevance of such training in terms of employability and personal development.

The model includes recommendations for quality assurance, governance frameworks, an information model and system management. It was developed through a co-design approach with relevant stakeholders and supported by research on context and needs analysis (specifically on ALE quality indicators, existing registries and ILA-related experiences in EU countries) and pilot activities to test and validate the models and proof of concept.

1

The project identified, assessed, and tested relevant existing approaches for European and national registries of training opportunities and re-adapted them within an integrated model interoperable with the European Learning Model V3.

2

RALExILA brought a strong innovative approach in terms of active participation and inclusiveness, adopting a co-design approach (based on the Design Thinking method). This involved representatives from all stakeholder groups: national and regional authorities, training providers and their practitioners, civil society organisations, and learners. This approach contributes to longer-term impact on systemic change in the ALE environment and on its governance model.

3

The analysis of current approaches and the direct input from stakeholders using these registries create a strong foundation. This supports the transfer of innovation and future use of the RALExILA model at European, national, and regional levels. It has the potential to become a joint model across Europe for future projects and initiatives.
